I'm looking for some experienced people to help me compile a list of reference pictures and websites to put together a Jason Voorhees costume from the 2009 Friday the 13th film.
The main pieces I am looking to collect first are -
.Machete
.Hockey Mask
.Overcoat/Jacket
.Pants
.Boots.
Smaller details I will be filling in after I have collected the main body of the costume.
I want the most accurate pieces from the film.

Side note - just a question, if anyone knows. Was the machete made purely for the film or was it a real machete that had been altered to suit the movie?

Here is a gallery of replica and screen-used props/masks/costumes from Friday the 13th (2009) on yourprops.com:

Here is a fanmade Jason Ft13 2009 costume, as posted on Official Halloween Message Board. Includes photos, parts list, and prices:

...and here's the Profiles in History Auction catalog for it, from their Hollywood Auctions 56 (July 2013), containing various Ft13-2009 props, production pieces, and costumes:
(Ft13-2009 begins on PDF page 319, catalog page 317, but the entire catalog is a great read)

Tip:
Save the PDF file to your computer (desktop/laptop, not mobile device). Then, open in Adobe Acrobat and you should be able to select/right click the photos and copy them or save them. I have not been able to do that when viewing the catalog online, only when saved locally.

Best of luck to you with your costume build!
