hellraiser 2

I do have a really high-res version, but I won't give it out for free (I'm pissed right now because Hotshot messed up my Ghostbusters Time Magazine thread :angry). This is a sample of it.

You can also buy these on Dough's website, but you can only get this with a huge autograph of dough on it (het puts it on places where it's almost impossible to photoshop it away. Places with lot's of details, like on the collar and buttons, or on the hand, etc... I know, I bought one ;)). I did some more research, however, and now have a nice clean version without an autograph. Maybe some people want this, but since an autographed version is still for sale on doughs website, I didn't consider doing a run of these, just because I didn't want to go through te trouble figuring out if this is OK or not.

If you can convice a mod that it's ok for me to do a run, than I might consider doing so. But I'm not going to aks myself. So if you really want one and can convice a mod that it's OK, let me know...

You can trade the file for a, let's call it, "protective charge"... :love

You and your photoshop skills pop out of nowhere...

So whats in your mind, what cool projects are still coming?!? Can we hire you for Paper Prop Jobs?!? :lol

Hey, Photoshop is the only thing I can. ;-). In this case, there was not much photoshopping. I got the file and that's it. Only thing it needs is a bit more sepia I think. A screencap of the movie were the picture is seen, could help me with determining the size and appearance.

What other projects are coming? I'm planning on doing a run of the Tales from Space comic, based on the pictures of the Profiles in History auction. I already reworked the titles completely and they look great. I also have a high-res scan of the Red Ryder Ad on the back (the correct ad as seen in the movie!). This add is lacking on all the replica's I've seen so far. Sometimes it's the wrong add, sometimes the quality is just bad.

But as I mentioned in the ghostbusters time thread: I have little time. I had some time today because I was sick and didn't go to work, but otherwise I have so little time, and so many props to do! ;-)

And yeah, I'm always interested in "commercial work". The only thing I sold until now, is a screen accurate Fight Club / Paper Streat Soap business card. ;-) I could do a run of those too, in fact... Man, so little time. So little time... :cry. But first: the Ghostbusters Time magazine...

Well, I just wondered about the Comic. I got a Jedifyve Comic and the back looks different as my Cover I made some time ago...

And there are tons of paper props out, like the fight club card in a relative good quality, so for me some other props are more important...

There are props without a good high res file, I think these need some work, but sadly no-one cares about these movies...

So, I will just wait whats next on your list...

From our posting guidelines:

8) Do not post images with watermarks, or post items that you are trying to sell. Also, do not post asking for members to pm/email you for access to your items. If you want to share a free paper prop, post it in the thread for everyone.

Too bad, then... I want to offer what I have for free, but not just in the free paper prop section, since I hade quite some of my "contributions" ending up on eBay. Since I don't want this to happen anymore, I put "tells" in what I share, so if some of my work ends up on eBay, I know which RPF member I gave which image and who leaked the image... If I can't "build in" this kind of security, I'd rather not share my work... I hope that sounds fair... People will have to do with the lower resolution image above, and try to photoshop out the signature...

This picture can be found in the Hellraiser Chronicles book. I believe doug also sells it on his website. While not free, it is an option.

Doug sells it with a large autograph on a part of the picture where it is very difficult to photoshop it away...

So you could buy 25 photos as it would be unlikely that he would autograph the exact same points on all of them. Scan each one of them, and piece them together so there's no more autograph. Then you'd have your free photo :)

Does anyone know the correct size for the photo? Is it suppose to be 8x10?

Not sure the size used in the movie. I do seem to have some thought that older pictures maybe weren't the same size as we use today. I may be wrong on that, but that's my thought. I'd say do a screenshot of the size of Doug's hands with the photo in it, and extrapolate from there.

Actually, I bought two and was lucky to have one autograph on top and the other on the bottom. So I could make the perfect picture out of two of these. If someone is interested in an autographed pic of Dough: I have a spare ;-).

There's a great thread here, a guide to photo sizes of the past. I was only reading it last week, and I can't find it now! Quest is on... who can find it..

One:Nil to my browser history.

Turns out I was right - yet wrong. There is a pic in the Hellraiser Chronicles, but it's about 2 or 3 inches long. So not much help if you're looking for a bigger picture. It is also cut off a bit on the bottom.
