Hellboy Project...fishing for some direction

Hi All, Been a while since I've posted anything on the forums and I usually just find everything I'm looking for by lurking. This time it just hasn't been so successful. So here's what I've been up to.

I've been toying with the notion of putting together a Hellboy costume once I finish up a couple projects so started researching them. Got the Samaratin(sideshow), Right Hand of Doom, and a lead on some of the wearables, prosthetics and a few other cool items. What I cannot source is the Trench coat. Would anyone here be able to point me in the right direction? I'd like to get as close as possible if it is an existing item. If it was custom I can use a sideshow as a referance.

Other items I've been trying unsuccessfully to source
A Chewy15 Hellboy bust for a custom display and the 1/4 Hellboy statue from sideshow! Both rare and hard to come by apparently!

If anyone has some insight I'd greatly appreciate it!:)
thank you!

I'm not sure, but I would imagine, with the bulbous size of the hand, wouldn't the jacket have to be a custom?

The right sleeve is moded, cut shorter and then split up side toward shoulder with buckles to hold closed.

Sorry I can't help on the base trench coat though. This was on my project list at one time but finally scrapped it and sold off my props.

Would love to see pics once you get this one going though.:thumbsup

No definitve answers on the hellboy stuff ehh? Not the first time I've not gotten the info from the RPF, but was not expecting the stump the costuming forum thats forsure!LOL Alot of folks reading too! Wow! Ah well, if anyone knows anything or can point me to a referance sourse I can tackle on my own I'd be most greatful!
thank you, jon/shunned

I wish I could remember who hear had the really awesome hellboy that he actually sculpted the facial prosthetic to where he looked like Ron Perlman. He was at D*Con last year. I wanna say it was Bountys Hunted from TDH, but he goes by a different name here.

If you think it would help I'd give it a try:lol, but I think you might be taking my statement alittle more Brash than it was intended! Thanks for responding though Emeldahay!

BountysHunted? A great friend of mine! I'll go track him down! Thanks for the heads up!:)

I`m sure you`ll charm some info out of someone.

Hellboy was my roomie last year at DCon. From now on, whenever I watch that movie, I will always expect to hear his voice!!! :lol

Manoman, I remember helping him gear up, it took alot of effort, and it was worth it. He was Hellboy!

I remember the coat was a heavy winter leather coat. Heavy... it was pretty trick, Eric sourced out much of the gear from who made it, had two efforts to get the holster made. Got burned by the first guy, found an older fellow nearby that made it for him. Turned out freakin' awesome!

Bro, give me a call and we'll chat about Hellboy! :cool

There's BH. I knew you linked up into this somehow. I remember chatting with Hellboy that year, but things were a bit garbled with me in my V, and him in his rubber Hellboy head. Very impressive sculpting. I was hoping to see him back this year, but I admitedly didn't get out much with the panels I was teaching in the costume track and all.

After C4, a new house and a 1/1 Han Solo in Carbonite, Eric wasn't able to come to DCon.

He put a ton of effort into the costume to make it as screen accurate as possible. From repainting the fist, to sourcing out the buckle, coat, secret service earpiece, the speakers, to watching clips of the movie over and over to get Hellboy's mannerisms down perfect, he was Hellboy!
