I wonder how they got away using Baby Herman´s likeness ?

And what are the markings on the bottom of the Samaritan handle ?

WOW that looks tons better than even the last one which was incredible... Can't wait to see this.

Until now, I can't say I was too excited about this movie but that trailer won me over! I love that last line... :lol Classic.

The trailer has piqued my interest, and I liked Hellboy. I only have one...well, can't call it a gripe, but what is up with the Del Toro monsters? It reminds me of Pan's Labyrinth meets Hellboy.

DelToro is still sharpening his craft and it seems he's doing so very well. This trailer was great. Makes it look much better than the first movie, by far.

I believe Mike Mignola (the artist of the hellboy comics) did the designs for the Pan's Labyrinth charactes as well as for the hellboy flicks, which is why they all have the same vibe.

Howlrunner, It's Rammstein - "Mein Herz Brennt" from the album 'Mutter'. ;)
I think It was also used in the other trailer too.

And yes - great trailer! Anyone else get a 'cantina aliens' feel from the creature crowd scenes? :)

Guillermo has said that this film will be more "supernatural" than the first one, as opposed to science fictional, so no super-science or Nazis or force fields this time. :lol

This means I guess that HB2 has more akin with "Pan's Labyrinth" than with HB1.

Guillermo also says that he hates when audiences demand that movies be "logical" and "make sense", which unfortunately means that Guillermo del Toro hates me personally. :$

Sounds like a CYA excuse in case critics pan this movie.

why would anyone expect a movie called "Hellboy" to be uber-realistic? :)

besides, the comic is more focused on the mystical aspect of the world, and pretty much all of the stories are based on real myth and legend.
