Since this forum has lets face it, the best people on the internet for costuming imho. I figured this is the best place to ask about a couple things I need for my costume.
I'm currently building (Along with at leasts 3 other people on this forum), a General Kael costume from Willow. It has ben a work in progress for about a year off and on (Getting a girlfriend derailed me for about 6 months) and now I'm trying to finish it.
First thing I'm looking for is a solid set of boots that will add about 4-6 inches to my height. I stand about 6ft, and I'm nowhere near Pat Roach who was about 6ft 6, with his costume I'm guessing he hit about 6ft 7 or 8. I'm hoping to at least be taller than most people so that the costume is imposing enough. I've looked at TallmensShoes, and at a few 'goth' sites for boots. What do you all recommend? Goth style boots might work best for an evil dude like Kael.
Second, I have the mask completed and I'm looking for a way to get the visor and helmet to move the same way Kael's does in the movie with his skull-visor. Any recommendations on how to do this?
