Heavyball pokéball mould

So I couldn't paint today due to lots of rain, so I decided to mould the top shell of the heavy ball I'm working on. Im hoping to have minimal sanding.

So overall it came out pretty decent. More sanding than i hoped for, but oh well Haha. This was the test pull so the final will be much more pretty.

Out of curiosity, what is the center of the ball (black area) made from? I'm just starting a build and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to make the central ring to mount my button light into.

What does the complete mold look like?

Good casts are all about how good the master is. The better it is, the less sanding you need to do to each cast later.
