Heath ledger made the joker diary when trying to find his jokers personality and style and everything when the dark knight cast was introduced. He locked himself up in a hotel room alone and created the journal full of dark, gritty things, cards, hyenas. Either way, the book he used is called Elephant and Nemo from Eeboo. But I messaged Eeboo and they aren't making it anymore so its kinda rare. But this means a lot to me. So I need help finding Elephant and Nemo Composition Book that I can buy.

Started working on my diary today thanks to inspiration from this thread. I guess you could call it a “1 day build” since it was kinda rushed. I’m not really going for accuracy on this, I’m going for more of a roughed up, thrown together look. The various Joker cards actually are from my Uncle whom had a large collection of various Joker cards (thought they would be perfect to throw in with the diary). No, this isn’t the actual composition book, I did blow up a photo of the actual book as much as I could and glued it onto the cover of another composition journal that was the same size as the Ledger journal. The inside is not complete yet although it should be done by the end of the day tomorrow.

I haven’t seen anyone else really attempt this before. So I gues this could be considered the first replica??? Probably not, but it’s the only one I’ve seen throughout all my research so who knows.

I also see that your looking for an actual journal. I’ve tried to look for one to and could never find any. My best advice is to maybe see if you could get a paper props maker to make one for you (like commission someone to make a replica) and then do the inserts yourself so he won’t charge you any more money. But if you are going for an “all real parts” replica then all I have to say is, good luck

It would be nice to get a all real parts replica buy if I need to I'll do something similar to what you did. Especially after seeing what it looks like. Do you remember or know what type of journal you're really using? It looks like the perfect size.

Mine was used from a really old composition book that was left over from when I was in elementary school. So from like 2012. I couldn’t tell you the exact brand, since I never really looked. But, I can tell you the size and where I get mine from.

the size is 7’(wide)x10’(long)

and the store I most likely got it from was..
Office Max, Office Depot, or Hobby Lobby
(It depends on where you live to find these stores because I know they aren’t everywhere)

One more thing. If you know any of the original sources for the images and comic panels in the journal, do you mind telling me where I can find them?

I think those are the last ones we can see. Id suggest you looking up the original first script for TDK and using that and listing scenes in order that we can't see. That's what heath did. Just of course do it the way he did

I could not find the exact one but I did do some editing on another picture that looked very similar
