heat no good for timeline :)

for those 3 members waiting patiently i wanted to say sorry for the delay with the shields, its has been too hot and humid in the garage, though i have tried, i have pulled paint off more on these for than in the last 5 years... anyway i contracted a local paint shop which is owned by my commander, i am now using his equipment, dropping the paint cans and going to guns and using his oven booth to harden the clear coat...
But i want to say thanks for being patient and i think the wait for these will be made up when you hold them in your hands :)
PS to those reading these guys have never complained nor demanded a time line..

Re: a quick apology

Yeah, it's way too hot and too humid to paint even in Virginia. It's better that you wait than give them a crappy product.

:thumbsup

Re: a quick apology

I'm one of the folks waiting. Let me tell you why I'm not concerned. Daryl has constantly given me updates, good, bad or indifferent and has even gone the distance to call me on more than one occassion to give me updates on my shields. See, that's all I ask. I don't mind waiting just so long as I get updates without me having to ask for them. Several sellers could learn a little something from this cat.

Thanks, Daryl. I look forward to my shields and I know I will love them. :)

Re: a quick apology

That makes all the difference to me too. I know how it goes with humidity and paint and that sort of thing and updates are key even if the news isn't always good at least it shows the person is professional about it.

Re: a quick apology

im not saying sorry for wrong doing but i am saying that crap happens and im making changes to beat the issues... also everyone i am talking to is here...

Re: a quick apology

Maybe you could change the title to "Heat makes crap happen" to make him happy. Just a thought:sleep. Anyway, way to man up, and say, "no...not in this heat, Skippy. Not today. For I shall not settle for an inferior product. I am shield maker guy". I applaud you sir:thumbsup
