Head and Shoulders Armature

Hello folks,

I'm working on a mask project and need a good "generic" head and shoulder armature to sculpt from. I am wanting to steer clear of a life cast as I want this to be as generic as possible. I've checked out the armature over at www.compositeeffects.com and that is pretty nice, but I was curious if anyone had one maybe a bit cheaper. Monster Makers has one but it just doesn't look right and doesn't have the full shoulders.

Actually I wish I could help, What you are doing requires people on this site who are experts at what you are tackling...Just wait a bit, they will come out of the woodwork and have some real answers for you

That's probably your best choice. Don't forget to compensate for Latex Shrinkage when sculpting your Mask!

I hope you post photos of your Sculpt eventually, I'd be interested to see it...

The one you got looks good. I tried to sculpt a cowl on armature, when the head of the thing was turned slightly to one side. I couldn't understand why some company would offer a armature whose head is turned to the side, which screwed up everything in terms of sculpting a neck. So I just used it for a helmet-type cowl and eye masks instead.
