"He Doesn't like you..." EVAZAN+ WALRUSMAN busts

.. a slight side-track, but anyone know if actor Afie Curtis is still around? (His IMDB listing doesn't show birth or death dates). I bet he'd get a kick out of seeing your rendition of his character Tom.

Ha... that'd be pretty sweet. Dunno if he's around at all, but someone needs to track him down if he is.

The hair really brings it to life. Have to contact you about that technique some time ;)

I love it, that you picked this odd character, not the 1,000,000th Vader (ooops, I'm working on one myself :p)

:lol

Thanks man. That's probably why I dig the cantina so much. There are plenty of obscure characters to draw upon. Always something fresh.

Finished.. Finally got the eyes in today. Took some quick pics to add to my gallery.

Rather than display him "naked" I added some felt to appear like a bit of shirt collar and vest to the one I'm keeping. I had to add a special touch to my personal copy, right? :D

pics below.

That's uncanny, Tom.

I think I'd be afraid to sleep with that in the room with me. :confused

Really superb work Wampa :thumbsup

See your new pics are finally doing all your hard work justice. His skin complexion now looks perfect in these shots.

Tom, You're a genius. That paintjob is bloody perfect. You should be one proud papa.

Fantastic work as usual Tom, but I would not expect any less from you :) I love the way the bust is just "floating" with the small bit of cloth around it, very classy.

Looks like you're one step closer to a achiving your dream of a 1:1 scale diorama of the cantina. ;) (Come on, admit it. You've thought about it.) ;)

Seriously, you totally nailed it you completely talented b@sat@rd you.

Cheers.

Thanks very much guys... I'm really excited about this one too. Nothing quite like spending weeks on something and then seeing it all come together.

Last night I put this one in my mask case with his cantina friends... always fun making room for your latest and setting up displays :)
