HD Trailer for the final Harry Potter film

I've seen the trailer about 50 times now. I can't stop watching it! Its literally so amazing, the word epic doesn't even begin to describe it. I'm a huge fan of the books and movies. I believe they are separate things. The movies are based on the books, but they aren't exactly the same. It does disappoint me when they leave something out I really wanted to see on film. Accio July 15th!

I'm not sure about the scene with Harry and V on the rooftop, but Snape's disappearing trick looked pretty awesome.

I'm very excited for this one too. It's a cool trailer. I've really enjoy both the films and books too. I would not be surprised to see JK Rowling return to the world of magic with a grown Harry Potter in a few years.

Looks like they are still staying good to the book for this last part.

I notice it says 3d. Now was this shot in 3d or was it a post 3d mess like Clash of the Titans? The movie is gonna be awesome, but in this 3d over done world we live in, I'd rather see a REAL 3d movie rather than a converted one...

Pretty sure the live action is a post-convert.

This is going to be big. It's like Star Wars ending all over again.
(Now we just wait for J.K. Rowling to pull a Lucas and make another series)

I feel like it's going to be terribly underwhelming to see this all end. Think about all the various characters and all their various backstories - everything that we've come to know over the past 7 movies. It's going to be hard to get full closure on film - they're going to leave someone or something out. Unless they make it 4 hours long, which is possible I guess. There's not many 4 hour movies I would watch, but with something of this magnitude and importance I think it could be necessary.

Admittedley this is the only book I didn't read. I didn't have the courage to dig into that brick. But I did read the last chapter (yes, I'm one of those guys).

I love what they've been doing with the wand combat in the last few movies. It's like fencing and gunfire at the same time. Really unique.

Voldemeort screams too many times in that trailer.

I'm hopeful that the director will redeem himself in my eyes with this one. It looks absolutely EPIC... I'll be bringing a box of tissues with me when I see it.

I still gotta read this one. Read em all except this one, okay maybe i'll jus read the second half of the book

The Harry Potter podcast Mugglecast did an episode talking about the trailer, they analyzed it frame by frame and everything. Its an hour long. If you don't understand something in the trailer, you should listen. Two of them have already seen the movie so they explain things. you can see the links on MuggleNet.com
