The wings are freakin' awesome.

A hint: try some rub on tan lotion. Hawkman flies under the sun and can't help develop that "Bronze Man" tan.

Yes, I know! I definitely need a tan and I'm also working on adding some bracers.

Plus, let me apologize. I was in a hurry when I posted this and need to give proper credit here for the help I received on the costume (all listed on my blog too). The helmet, as I mentioned in a previous topic, was designed by John at Alteregos.com- I modified it from a display piece to a wearable helmet (and again, he's currently not selling this item anymore). The emblem was made by friend Mike from Drgnfyre designs, and the pants were made by my friend Brian. I purchased the wings from a Hollywood costume company for almost $1K (ouch- but worth it!).

Glad everyone likes it!!!

You know, with a little work and cheap suit you could easily turn that into a Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law costume too.

Very nice costume.. I really like the comic look... BTW... Did you shave prior to the photos :love

great costume but i gotta say...you paid HOW much for those wings?
for that kinda change id expect real feathers...

Real feathers would have been cheaper, around 6-700. And they would have been really tough to get in gray, if not impossible. Plus, most feather wings' harness systems are really crappy. I actually didn't want feathers- they don't last forever- these will.
