Final prototypes should be ready to photograph (and I'll be doing some archery field testing with them as well) in about two weeks. Fingers crossed.
Finally have some new prototype pictures:
The black palm material used is a heavy duty textured rubber fabric which looks and feels great, but is not screen accurate. This is probably more practical for actual shooting (especially if you're not using a finger tab)... but we did find a fabric which looks nearly identical to the original costume gloves:
So, we could use this material, but this fabric will not hold up nearly as well with regular archery use (unless you are using a finger tab, in which case it should be fine). So... the big question is: which material? The screen accurate thinner stuff, or the thicker rubberized material?

This three-fingered glove is made from full-grain black and purple leather and a special black mesh fabric. The finger tips are internally reinforced with an extra layer of leather and the wrist has an extended velcro wrap.
