having problems with my foam cracking ?

    trying to make my foam iron man suite and im having a problem i know how to build and seal the whole thing but evey time there finished and base coated and everything i find that in certan parts the coats of pvs are cracking or snapping leaving noticeable lines trough my armour any one else have this or know how to stop it ?

    Is the foam itself cracking or is it the seam that is coming apart and causing the cracks? If it's not the foam do you mean the sealer and then base coat is the part that is cracking?

    If it's not the seams or foam then you might look for a flexible paint. Auto body stores carry paint that will flex and not crack that can be used to cover bumpers and other flexible car parts. Of course it would cost more money but would solve a paint cracking issue.

    its the pva im using to seal it thats cracking never been able to get rid of the problem
