Hasbro ROTJ AT-ST (IMPROVED)

I just picked one of these things up, I am very happy with it! Certainly over the first AT-ST they put out.

You do realize that the first one they put out was based off the ESB walker right... still not accurate mind you, but based off a different walker.

in anyu event I picked up one Yesterday. I plan to make a lot of the mods described here. it makes a heck of a difference -even though the base toy is pretty nice - as a toy...

I know, but growing up, I never really *saw* the first one as a decent likeness in my mind. When I was younger, I barely even remembered seeing the walker in ESB because of the little scene time with it. When I think "AT-ST," I first see the ROTJ version and not the ESB, and I remember Hasbro trying to pass of the original one as if it were from ROTJ with those varients.

I went to another one here in town today & they still had it at $39.

My Walmart finally had these guys for $20.00, so I bought two. I was never really happy with these and I wanted to modify it as well, but after removing it from the packaging (which made it look crappy), I'm very pleased with how this thing actually looks!!! I love the articulation with the legs. I think they did a great job with it!!!

As far as modifying, I'm not as expert at all, so I may just repaint this guy and call it finished! Glad they finally had these on clearance...I've been waiting.

Now, they just need to remake the AT-AT and I'll be very happy!
