Considering it's a Nerf toy, they have gone to a lot of trouble to make it reasonably accurate.

I can't believe it was a big seller in the world of Nerf, it must have been a pet project from someone deep in Hasbro......however I did buy 4 of the bad boys and I have zero interest in Nerf....

That looks really clean and sharp. There's a fair bit of plastic logo removal and you've done a great job getting it off.

Although I had a fairly screen accurate sling it never looked rugged enough to match the finish I have on my M41A - even though I had left it out in the sun for months.

I decided to rather use a well-loved rifle sling I used when I served back in the '70's

How are you guys getting under the grenade pump? I haven’t seen anyone remove it. Is that step just not documented? I don’t really want to take it apart if avoidable. At least until someone comes up with a better sound solution. Some great conversions here regardless.

To get it off you have to take apart the whole thing.
There are screws on the inside that hold it on.

You don't get 'under the grenade pump' all you do is paint around it....BUT there is a really small section where you have to hold back the slide past it's lock point and paint. It's a real pain and I didn't notice it until I have painted 'around' the slide.

Basically done...a bit more weathering to do and sort out the display stand but a fun build of a really solid Nerf based replica.....

It's just a matter of the production delay on Tested's videos. They sent a teaser photo out to members November 7th, the day he received it. With things like prop auctions where timing matters they're more punctual, but his video releases are generally a month or two behind the filming.
