hasbro anakin removable blade I like to mod

I am talking about the 2010 anakin removable blade made by hasbro
A friend of mine has one, and he like to mod it to:

1- make the soundboard works without the blade
I don't know if this comes from the pins in the connector, or a small piece of metal in the blade near the connector.

2- it is possible to add a really powerful led in the adapter piece that comes to insert when you remove the blade?

3- light up the lightsaber, but with no sound

he like to keep the ability to remove this adapter, and use the original blade

we don't know if any of this are possible to do, so the best option is ASK

this is one of the 3 3/4" figures I take it?
(I honestly have no idea how to do it, just looking for clarification)
edit: oh wait, you mean the full-on saber similar to the Master Replicas one don't you?

That tutorial doesn't apply to the 2010-11 Removable blade sabers the OP is referring to. However, go to the website that tutorial is on, FXSabers.com and join, you can get a lot of info and help there.

Ask around, say "Hey, I'm a Noob, so gotta Noob Question" and go from there. Be sure to mention you want to mod the 2010-11 Removable blade FX saber. There are Sabersmiths there that can do what you want, for a a decent price.

The custom saber shop now has mod-kits for the new removable blade anakin sabers. So to answer the original questions, yes all 3 options are possible with this kit.
