Has anyone made a Saint knife from the Val Kilmer movie?

Once I saw The Saint with Val Kilmer I became fascinated by the knife he uses throughout.
I realize that one knife couldn't contain everything shown in the film. has anyone made a proximity of the knife?

Sincerely,
The WOLF

I worked for Asylum in South London, they were the FX team who made the knife sadly i don't have any damned pictures of it. but i know they have it in their display case down there

here's a shot that gives a good idea of the uniqueness of the knife.
That is it flipped open to show the lock picks and such.

watched it for the first time today and was also fascinated by the knife.
as a build, it would have to include the lockpick(s), the alphabet, a camera lens, and of course a knife. it would have to be able to open and lock closed. i think layered styrene with custom made knife and pick(s) from thin sheet metal and for the camera lens, just a lens from a disposable camera.

Hi Guys,
There are two of these knives on display at Planet Hollywood – New York located behind glass at their “Spy Bar” Here are the few photos I have of the knife.
If anyone is near there perhaps they could supply us with better pics.
Interestingly, several years ago, SD Studios was contacted by the licensee about producing prop replicas of this knife but it never came about…sad.

I'm glad to see this thread being picked up again.
ed-209, did you happen to see what was written above the drama/comedy masks?
I agree with Beesa-Pesal's idea of a copy but I might try to add the compass also.
Ican't find the sketches I did sometime ago but the new photos make me want to start again.

Sincerely,
the Wolf

Sorry Wolf, the pics were taken a few years ago. Unfortunetly, those were the clearest pics I had. Again...I believe it's still there so if anyone is in NYC...visit Planet Hollywood, go to the Spy Bar and PLEASE take better pics.

why are the knives different (and attached to a blood container o_O), is one from the tv series?

I'm so sorry for posting in this old thread, but this is a knife I myself have been really wanting to make a replica of.

Here's what I've found on it so far:

A guy over at the blade forums has one of six original knives made for the movie: "The Saint" movie knife....pics. and help needed! - BladeForums.com

He's posted a few pictures as well. (Nice close ups giving detail.) I'm posting them here as well for convenience.

Pic 2) http://oi42.tinypic.com/143hjj6.jpg

Looks easy enough to do. I have a friend in the U.K. who's a knife maker who can fashion the blade for me. (I could do it myself, but I'd like a professional to do it.) The rest I can machine.

By the way, has anyone here done a replica of the knife yet? As you can tell from my name, I'm a huge fan. ;)

There was at least one thread on the knife but I don't think anybody has made one here.

Well it's been 6 years so if it has not by now.....

One always needs hope though I suppose

Yeah, I mean what a cool prop.. I just dont get how this has not been made.. at the time, that movie and the gadgets were better then what I saw in the bond films..

If I could get my hands on the original that one of the members has here, I could make a mold of the body, cast in resin and build up the rest.

I guess if I really wanted to I could just sculpt the body from screen shots and then make a mold off that... if no one is going to do it then I think i might just take the job.
