OK, he has new eyes! I'm MUCH happier with these - the iris is now smaller (which makes a HUGE difference), the line around the iris is blended (not sharp) and the veining in the damaged eye is heavier.

Plus he has some nice spiffy new clothes (including a silk tie I found that is almost perfect).

Now to try to figure out how to accurately weather/burn his jacket and shirt....

could try (outside) melting plastic onto the suit to crisp him up maybe some of that blue rope you can buy might need blackening in some spots tho

They were just painted white and then had different washes of brown applied over the top. Sealed them with a satin varnish to give the right look.
