looks good, bit of positive crit. I think the bottom eye lid is too tall. that is the only thing that looks off to me but its a wip so im sure your gonna change lots before you finish
Thanks for the kind words. I agree, its not right, neither is alot on it. Just putting the groundwork done for a progress thread, hence the WIP title. When I post things as WIP, they change radically, so if somethings off, its because it is. Thats where my upcoming free time will come into play though.
Thanks though for the insight.
That's really cool! The burnt side looks GREAT, and the Dent side looks good but not quite right for a likeness. I'm trying to put my finger on what's stopping me from believing that it's Aaron Eckhart, but it's a difficult thing to verbalize...maybe the mouth is too wide? The eye also seems to have a slant to it that I'm not seeing in the reference photos on your wall. But even so, I'm excited to see how this turns out!
This is what I would change...
Modify the eye, make the mouth a little less wide (but this is a REALLY minor problem, it could be leaved as it is), and widen up the jaw
The teeth are an acrylic set of 26 (using half), at a place I found online. They do really good prices, so if anyone wondering about good quality teeth for a low cost I'll post the link.
Looks promising... What I suggest you do is study the anatomy of a human face a bit more closely and relate it to Aaron Eckhart. We all share facial characteristics... so look at bone structure - how the muscles form over the bones and then how the skin should hang.
What immediately springs to mind on your sculpt is the normal/good eye needs to be more meaty on the lower lid and the eyeball itself could maybe be more sucken allowing for more depth to the flesh between the eyebrows and the upper lid thus creating the correct level of shadow... The eyeball either needs pushing in slightly or the bone structure and flesh needs building out, but there certainly needs to be more shadow there from somewhere

Phil, I was actually doing that to the human eye last night after I took the photos. I like to take photos during the process and it lets me see things like what you've mentioned. I also enjoy the remarks as well becasue I can learn from them if I'm not already seeing that myself. I'm watching "The Dark Knight" now, so I'm always stopping on the Dent scenes.
The burnt side will be fun as well, lots of details there.
