Harryhausen Cyclops bronze

I finally managed to score a Harryhausen bronze.

There’s not much available out there on the open market. After much searching I finally found a resin version of the Cyclops that I thought kicked ass, so I asked the artist if he could reproduce it in bronze. Thankfully, he agreed to make it for me. The bronze is based on a sculpt by Michael Maddi, a much talented special effects artist and sculptor. Cyclops measures 11 inches tall. Base is about 8.25 inches in diameter. And it weights nearly 20 lbs!

It’s not really offered for sale anywhere, but if you’re interested contact Mr. Maddi at mike@puppetoys.com and I’m sure he would accommodate.

Wow, that is a great score! It's always great to see a new Harryhausen bronze. That's a nice interpretation of the Cyclops too.

Thanks! It was cast by a foundry in Oklahoma. The detail they captured from the wax sculpt is amazing. Solid bronze - sucker is HEAVY!
