Holy crap dark side sith lord your wand and your box are impressive! I am still working out the kinks in my wand boxes. Thats a great tutorial thanks for posting that!!

I recently started making wands... here are 2 of my latest creations. They are not designed after any wands used in the movie.

The brown one was made out of a chopstick and epoxy putty.

The head of the black wand is one of my broken resin casts of a zombie from the Plants vs Zombies figurines I've been making. The body is from a paintbrush. The handle is formed using epoxy putty.

Here are some other angles:

Ooh, I've made some wands!

None of them are movie wand replicas, they're all just designs I've made.
None of these are painted or stained in any way, just wood, a couple acrylic handles, and some gloss lacquer.

Wow...you guys do awesome work! :thumbsup

I've been wanting to try my hand at wand making for a long time; your work gives me inspiration, and I'm thinking hard about just jumping in feet-first and building a few! :cool

I have another dozen or so if there's any interest in seeing them. Let me know if you want to!

Please Do! These are wonderful.
I have a question or two though.

1. Where do you get your wood and Acrylic from?
2. And how hard is it to turn Acrylic? Any special tips for it?

Here are a few of my wands (currently residing in Woozlemom's house):
