I made this harry potter wand for the wife for Christmas. it is made of a plastic light up knitting needle. I then used 2 part sculpting epoxy putty to sculpt the wand over the needle. it cured over night and hand painted it using acrylic paint. I dry brushed subtle details and then highlighted it. used a spray lacquer to seal it. the base is made of foam board and 2 jenga blocks, carved and distressed it all to look like stone. acrylic paint again, dry brushed tones and highlights and sealed it the same way. hot glue for the center symbol and painted it with 3 coats of red( hot glue sucks taking paint). if I can answer anything else I will. thanks for looking.

Very cool. Nice job!

Btw: I used to buy my burgers from Wilson's, my ice cream from Dietsch Brothers and my Totum Peanuts from Wolfies. I used to visit Findlay a lot! ;)

Wow! That looks awesome. My wife and I got wands from the Wizarding World and have wanted a way to display them... I may have to try out your base idea because that looks top notch!!!
