Harry Potter Studio Tour

Hey fellow RPF members.

I'm taking my daughter to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London on Thursday for her birthday. I was hoping someone can tell me if they sell Noble Collection items in the gift shop. Also do they sell any limited edition items that are only available the tour?

Any help with regards to what they sell at the tour and prices would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. I'm a huge fan of all your work. Keep up the good work.

Yep noble wands are on sale there, I don't think the price is any different . A lot of the other stuff I have only seen in the shop. The way it's laid out you can go to the shop both before and after your trip round so lots of time to spend :)
lots of clothing for the four houses and some nice other items, the only thing I thought they could have done more of we're the weezley joke items and hp sweets.

Getting your own face on a wanted poster is fun and not a bad price.

Just a shame its all really, REALLY pricey...

...Having said that I bought an Elder Wand anyway... :p

Thanks for the replies.

I'm sure my bank balance will take a hammering then, thankfully my daughter has been saving her pocket money as well, so some things she will be able to buy herself.

The wanted poster with your own face on it sounds good though. Just hope my daughter enjoys the tour.

when i went the wands were £25, sweets were £7-£8 per pack, they have limited edition stuff there too very pricey stuff tho, theres books, posters, badges, lego, everything you can think of really but it is all top dollar, my daughter wanted robes but they were too much, definitely get your photo's done on the broom and in the car we got 4 photo's for £20, make sure to take spare batteries i went through 2 sets, its a great day out and i hope to be going back again myself, we got a butter beer between us its nice but quite rich, i took my 9 year old daughter and 7 year old nephew and we all loved it.

Wouldn't be able to tell you anything regarding the Noble Collection, but I did want to say to have a good time. Really wish I could visit the tour. Then again I would also love to visit Harry Potter World!

Thanks Pobbrett. I have recently bought a spare battery for my camera, just hope they last for the entire trip, im sure my daughter will want to photograph EVERYTHING. Also thanks for the info on the items they sell. The photo's sound great, I think I will deffo be forking out for those.

Also thanks DeLorean12, we were lucky enough to visit Wizarding World of Harry Potter back in June of this year, so it will be interesting to see how they compare. I think even I am looking forward to the studio tour more than I was looking forward to going to Florida, and my daughter has been like a bottle of pop ready to explode since I told her we were going last week.

Im sure we will have a fab day and my bank balance will be severely dented afterwards. Thanks :rolleyes

:rolleyes

i enjoyed it more than the kids and they were blown away, i took 237 pics and that was taking it easy (and requests from forum) i even got to hold the actual tom riddle diary used in the stabbing scene with the basilisk fang (i must be a nerd as no-one else noticed it) so keep an eye out for staff carrying objects (she even took my pic with it for me)

Pobbrett, 237 pics is deffo taking it easy, i reckon it will be more like 2037 lol. My daughter does want to photograph EVERYTHING. I will try and keep an eye out for staff carrying various objects, thanks for the tip.:rolleyes
Thnaks for posting the cool photo as well, my daughter said WOW! AMAZING!

As others have said, there is a vast array of goodies in the shop. I was very restrained, and only bought a limited edition print of a Concept Art sketch. The print I got was a great sketch of the Hogwarts bridge, but I think each image is only available for a limited time, (300 copies of each I think) so there will probably be different images all the time. I'm going to go again in February, so I may pick up another!
