I had trouble picking out what is different, in the before and after shots, but I am going to gamble and say...you put a little paint on them?

Nice job, I am always amazed at how big a difference that makes, they are almost painful to look at as sold.
I don't seem to have the ability to look beyond the original colors to see what "could be", in the store it just hurts my eyes, and I run away.

Local thrift shop called Maj-R-Thrift has a rack of them for $1.20 each. I picked these two up when they had a 2 for one deal on all summer toys.
