Hanzo (Overwatch) for AX/SDCC/PAX

Hi all, sharing my WIP costume/prop build of Overwatch's Hanzo for Anime Expo, San Diego Comic Con, and PAX West! More progress can be found on my fb page here:

BREAKDOWN:
- Top was sewn by me out of a linen-esque cotton, lightning design painted on by hand
- Pants started as a pair of black scrubs, fish scale pattern painstakingly painted on over the course of 4 nights
- Glove is an opera glove with the last two fingers cut off; armor is EVA foam held on with elastic bands
- Wig was a ponytail wig I chopped and styled; beard was a from a party store but I've ordered a nice theatrical fake goatee
- Knee armor is EVA foam
- Bow is mostly EVA foam, built around a core of thin wood for stability at the center
- Quiver is EVA foam with some LEDs inside for the light
- Tattoo is a pair of pantyhose; I cut a hole in the crotch for my head and wear the pantyhose upside down like a very tight, sheer shirt. Dragon was drawn on with permanent marker.

Lots to do before AX in 9 days, but it should all be doable! I'll be wearing this Saturday of AX for the OW gathering.

Sorry for the absence, been crunching to get stuff done for AX this weekend!

- Got a new, nicer theatrical goatee. Painted the temples of my wig with white/gray
- Made a small offering set based on the "Dragons" animated short: got a small bowl, bamboo coasters as a mat, sculpted an incense holder from Sculpey and made some incense from some 1/8" dowels, and got a feather (the pictured feather was placeholder and has been replaced by a nicer one)
- Made the belt pouches out of craft foam the pouches have enough room to hold the entire Genji offering
- The sake gourd is two styrofoam balls (4" and 6"); logo is craft foam
- I sewed a "sleeve" for my shins, to go over my tabi boots
- Painted my bow. I also added a bowstring with some 1/4" elastic, pretty slack so as to abide by convention rules. Made 2 arrows, pictured in the full suit up.
- I also got a sheer ladies' leotard with a mock turtleneck. After dying it darker (it was very light and very pink when I got it), I redrew my dragon tattoo with more detail. Way more comfortable to wear and (The full suit up pictures use my v1 tattoo sleeve)

Where did you find the sheer top? I'm planning a Zarya costume and would love to do the same thing for her tattoos.

I found a sheer nude ladies' bodysuit on Amazon. Essentially a leotard made of mesh. Then fabric markers to draw the tattoo.

Finally finished and worn to AX! Had a blast and was super popular!
