Hey Gang,

I just finished this piece.

Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter

A 1:1 Hollow Resin Cast Bust

The detail on this piece is incredible. I added the
glass eyes, hair, t-shirt and prison jumpsuit.

I currently have this piece up for sale on ebay, if anyone
is interested just search by seller - jcampdesign

Thanks for Looking.

Looks Great. :thumbsup Might want to pale down his mouth a little if you do another one though, it kind of looks like he's been hittin' the Koolaide a little hard. :p

These are still available BTW... :D

The hair on that is crazy. Hard to tell if it's painted or if you did what you did to your Oldman Drac bust. Amazing as always.

Nice to see this kind of stuff around Halloween.

Jeff, did you change the hair? The hair just looks so much different than on the casting?

This is absolutly freaky man ;)

Hey thanks Simmon & Howard.

Yes, the hair is different then the original casting. I had to either
rescuplt the hair or cover it up with real hair, the original hair
looked like it was sculpted with a fork. :eek

Thanks Guys.

Looks very cool. I have one of those pulls on the way as well...

Might want to credit the sculptor on this one.

Mr. Barlow (Russ L.) from the board.

Sort of have to agree here...

The paint up is amazing, and the close-ups of the skin tones are freakishly life like, but all the colors seem too rich for the character. Lips too red, hair too dark, eyes too blue, and skin to tan (especially for an incarcerated psychopath.)... Granted we're seeing it under only one sigular lighting/photographay scenario...

VERY classy display with the pedastal, shirt, etcetera.

I think PHArchivist is right about the richness. For a guy in prison with no window to the outside world he'd appear more pasty. The bust seems more realistic where the lighting washes the features a bit.

Impressive work with the hair and fitting the glass eyes.

^Agreed.^

Still, awesome work, the likes of which I'll never be able to do...

it could just be the camera...the colors may look alot different in person

i know this first hand...

Jeff did an AWESOME paint up for me a couple months ago...the pics he sent, although impressive, just didn't do it justice at all

just my $.02

thanks
