The handle is 7 pieces of handcarved wood with the two halves of the handle bolted together and covered in fiberglass, the blade is two sheets of 1/8 cut to the shape, cold-welded together, and sanded down to sharped the edges. The gems used a handmade mold and were cast with epoxy resin. The pedestal is all wood and has a sheath type box in the center to keep the sword going straight up and down when you insert it in the pedestal. The rupees were made of clay and painted with glaze:]
! And so have I, that's why i decided to make one, i just couldn't settle for the terrible replicas that are sold!
