Hand-Made Marauder's Map

Hello!
I want to show you one of the first props I made.
Back in 2010, I really wanted a Marauder's Map... so I made my own!
I took a long time to do it, at the time there was so little photos on the internet about it, I had to use movie stills as reference so I could draw it...


Then, I scanned it and printed on homemade parchment paper (coffee) Here are the result:

For a premium look, pop up stairs where added on some places.

Thank you, mostly stills, but at the time i found 3 - 4 pictures of a replica, that helped me too

I've been trying to get enough together to make my own as well, but I haven't been able to find where the pop-up stairs are on the original prop. Do you have any images of the original or screenshots that show the stairs?

Wow! Vitor, the video does help. Took a few screenshots to work with. Krats, even better. So jealous that you got to see it up close. Also jealous that you're in the UK and can get elder wood much easier than I can. I want to make a replica of the elder wand with actual elder wood, but apparently it's harder to come by than I originally thought.

Hey Vitor, sorry to bug you again. The stairs you did for your map are just so great, especially since it doesn't seem like anyone else has even tried to duplicate them in their handmade versions, that I wanted to ask if you have a template for them that you could share, if you could scan them, or even just take a top-down picture of one of the staircases with the pages opened all the way so I could try to figure out the best dimensions for myself.

My stairs are really simple, they follow a basic structure like this:

The stairs on my map are not 100% "integrated" on the map, I glued them, like this:

I don't have a proper template for the stairs, because they are not difficult to make.
