Han In Carbonite, Life Sized questions

If I was going to put together a lifesized Han in Carbonite, who are members here or people that can be trusted to buy pieces and parts from. I know Fetthunter sells the sweet face casts, but what about all the other pieces and parts?

This seems like a large project for me, so I wanted to start a thread to find out who can be trusted and who to avoid.

Does anyone have any advice and suggestions in putting together a Han in Carbonite lifesized?

Thanks for the advice?!

There have been several pieces available for the Han parts, just search the JY. All reputable RPF'ers.

The Side Panels were the problem child, and that vendor has long since left the RPF.

You should join the HIC group on yahoo. Everything you need is available. I would suggest using a full frontal cast instead of just a face and build the body.

Thanks for the heads up guys. Anyone else on that forum before I join? I'd like to get to know people and see if this is something I can do!

I'm not in the HIC group yet, but think maybe I should join. HIC is on my list of "props to do" in the next couple of years but I'm not anywhere near ready to take on that project yet. However, I'd love to have the pieces in my collection and on 'standby' for when I'm ready to tackle it.

The side panels I have seen pop up from time to time. It's really the box that I'm having trouble finding. I have the 'face' panel, as its called. But it's pretty useless without the box to mount it in. Once I have the box I will worry about the control panels.

You're going to have to build the box. There's all kinds of options. I built mine out of MDF in an afternoon.

This is the one I built last year I have a mould/mold for the side panels seen here taken from the original Volvo panel which forms part of the HICView attachment DSC00391.JPG.There was an E-Bay U.K.. member selling the full figure in7 pieces DSC00416.JPGDSC00417.JPG The panels are quite difficult to cast iat least I found them quite difficult. Good luck with yours it is a great prop to own.
