Hammerhead Corvette 1/127 Scale Rogue One Build

For my engines I started with 2" ABS pipe. You definitely see some blockade runner influence on this section. Big thanks to Korbanth for some of the addons.

As soon as I started building up the engine section the whole thing started becoming massive.

I love these angles around the lower section. They were an undertaking to say the least.

I've always wanted to try and do a model old school style plus I don't have easy access to a 3D printer. I really enjoy the problem solving aspect of building this. It's fun browsing hardware store shelves for parts. I've gone through a ton of oil funnels for the various cone shapes. Trial and error.

If you scratchbuild that much I have no problem with some 3D parts. That looks awesome so far! I keep wanting to build that Republic "turbo tank" from ROTS, but those wheels look like they need to be 3D printed. It would be a PITA to scratch those!

It's about 37 inches. It will be around 38 after I get the engine nozzles on.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the support. This has been one huge undertaking for me. I guess it's one nice thing that came out of Covid for me. I have had loads of time to work on it.

Any Aurebesh experts out there? At least that's what I assume this lettering is. I looked at the list of letters and nothing looks familiar. This is the only image I have of this side. Not very good. Any ideas?
