Halo Helmet (Practice)

So while I was packing for my move to California, I found an old Halo helmet that I worked on a while back. Please excuse the quality of the helmet, my sister sat on it before I was done sanding/filling it and it crushed the brim, so I didn't work on it anymore. I was going to throw it away, but decided to use if for practice for painting/weathering since I'm not bringing it to California. So my question is how's this for the coloring, weathering, and over all shape?

I was working on the Mk 39 from Syrus54,but I can't bring that either, so I'll have to start from scratch in California.
Any feed back is appreciated :thumbsup

Weathering looks pretty legit. It is a lot harder to see in the darker picture, but the lower one you can definitely see more detail. I would suggest taking some black spray paint, brushing it on, and then brush over it with silver to add some depth. This should help for those darker pictures.

I thought about doing the black underneath, but I used all of it up on the base coat. And since I'm just going to throw it away, I wasn't going to invest that much time into it. Sorry about the lighting though, It was dusk.
