Ok so I have a small progress update. Im not sure if there's an official name for it but I just finished the butt plate for the armor. Done with eva foam again with 2 different thickness of foam. Tried to get some good angles with the dremel. After everything was glued together, I soldered in the details, used a heat gun to form a nice curved shape.... and thats that pretty much. Tried keeping it as clean as possible by using just enough hot glue that was necessary without over doing it.

Thanks man, everyday is a learning process for me, just hoping i can make something cool in the end that people would enjoy.

ok guys so heres another small update. just finished doing the wrist armor pieces.

The first four pics are just to show people how great using a soldering knife can be. You can cut pieces quick, get an insanely smooth cut and little to no having to use a dremel for smoothing out edges.



Now for these pictures above, yes i did have to use a dremel but only because i wanted angled edges... so it just doesnt look like theres a box on my wrist lol. Pretty easy guys.....the dremel is my best friend:facepalm ..moving on.

And lastly, used some different pieces of foam...made some details...slabbed on some hot glue & WALLA!!!:cheers I am done for the night.

Right now doing some other minor build for the torso part but probably will not be able to give an update until tomorrow. Thanks guys and again any constructive criticism is welcome.

New undersuit



Its a motocross upper torso armor. The pants I found at a bike store and thought they had an awesome design to them. The neck piece is just a motorcycle neck brace. Figured id show this since I know like myself lots of people have issues finding good undersuits. Was a bit pricey but so worth it. I can actually attach pieces of armor to the suit which is good so I can use multiple costume with the same undersuit.
