Halo - 343 Guilty Spark (and other monitors)

I did a quick search on this and nothing came up, so sorry if I'm repeating this.

Now Halo 3 is out and its awesome replay/screenshot feature, it's very simple and effective to get reference shots of all the game props. Something I've always wanted to replicate throughout the game series is a 1:1 343 Guilty Spark, AKA "Light bulb", or just a monitor, really.

How hard would this be to replicate, or has anyone else ever made one/started making one?

there is a pepakura pattern on the mjolnir forums. you need to download pepakura for it though and it wont be that detailed.

It's hard to tell, if the 'light' was off, would the whole thing be completely chrome colored? That's my guess, but the inner surface might have a blue/purple tint to them (but that could be the 'light').

Damn, that would look cool all chromed with working lights...

it's going to be the size of a very large beachball.... I think a mini one to use as a halloween bucket would be nice.
