Hey all!!
This is my first weapon replica build that has moving parts and some electronics in it, but I wanna upgrade to include sound effects too!

Currently the barrel spins when a small button in the rear handle is pressed, but I want to add a stand alone system on a seperate switch that'll create the noise. Under advisement I've bought a Arduino Uno and wave shield, managed to convert the sound file to the correct type and format the SD card. I've got speakers and a power supply. The only thing I seem to be struggling with is the code (Sketch??) to operate it. Basically what I want to do is have the sound file play continuosly on a loop while the button is pressed but then stop as soon as the button is released. I've seached online and read many of the Ironman threads on here concerning Arduino set up, and to be honest it's out of my league. I look at it and think to myself "I just don't know what any of that means, it looks like some poor soul simply fell asleep on their keyboard". Can anyone help with this? Do you have a suitable sketch that I can simply copy and paste? Will I smash my PC to bits in frustration?
