Yeah, I had seen those needlers on ebay...the only problem with them are they are not to scale, and they aren't accurate to Halo or H2 at all.

I am almost finished with my needlers, I'll post some pics of them when I get them finished..but They will be MUCH more accurate then those are.

Can't wait to see your needlers LittleOleBountyHunter, its one of my favourite looking of all the Halo weapons.

I'm working on the Index and accurate plasma grenades at the moment and a few other bits and pieces that will hopefully be done pretty soon.

I don't know what format the game files would be in.
However if anyone has acess to an .stl file, I have an eden 333 sla machine here at work that I can use.

Hmmm, if 3ds Max 8 can export an .stl file I can model a hi-poly prop (if I have enough references...)
I should check if is it possible to export an .stl file... I let you know.

Personally I would love a 12" Master Cheif. Just slap that file in the machine and print a perfect scaled replica.

anyone know if the halo helmets on ebay are worth half a crap or not?

i got a friend bugging me to find out, and i promised him i would post.

not mentioning the sellers, or the live auction #'s, but its a decent price so he is interested.

They are a decent price, but I wish they were worth it. I took a chance on the helmet and a couple of other armor pieces and well..lets just say I was a little disapointed, the helmet is kinda deformed, looks like it collapsed at some point. Certainly not worthy of battling any Covenant.

Ramiel, I'm going to have a look and see what I could gather the most refference for, maybe throw together a few sketches and dimensions and what not if the pictures I find arent too clear.

Falken, is there a maximum size for what could be made that I should keep in mind if I'm having a look for which item to gather refference for? some of those covenant weapons seem pretty big.
