yeah this board is "officially licensed" as well it doesn't cost much to licence something from universal i guess aha they did the same thing with the hc mags they took off any real company logos and asked to make a movie toy/ costume accessory, payed the right fee and boom officially licensed! i still dont get why they didnt put the battery modl on the bottom my guess is that they though they didnt "need" it since they dont have a sound module so they dont need batterys little did they know its an actual part of the prop not just something mattel called a battery box lol :facepalm

The removed battery box would make it easier to carry around by hand, like a skateboard, for those inclined to do so.
i thought about that and also the fact that id display it with the top showing so im really on the fence about making a box...ill most likely hold off until after comic con, i really need to pick up some super glue before the board comes in i still need to finish my left v2 mag as well im just taking a few days after drinking last night and tonight lol i know i was a big advocate for the hc mags but having v2s in hand with slim toe and el soles and straps..it just puts a huge smile on my face i really hope this hoverboard is good and my hero mods come out just as good as my v2 mags

The battery box doesn't get in the way when carrying the Matty Hover Board. As mentioned, it is a part of the board and should be on there.

V2 price would have put me right out of doing any of this. I can get basically the whole HC "Future" costume for the price of the V2 shoes.
It's a protrusion. You carry the board bottom out and it will bump into the inner forearm somewhere. If you carried the board top-out, different story.

That sticks out about 1/2". It is not something you will even feel if wearing the jacket.

Perhaps you might not. I know that would bother me carrying it at a con all day, jacket or no.

The HC discounts usually only apply to in stock items. You can't use it on pre-orders of any kind.
