Had a Dream I Was Watching the Amerika Miniseries

Talk about out of left field. Last night I dreamt I was watching a re-airing of the Amerika TV miniseries. The one from...the late 80's? With Kris Kristoferson. What was my brain sorting out that caused that memory to come up.

Oh wait...I can think of some things. :lol

The mysteries of the id. I've had that happen a few times, who knows why.

I'd like to know why I keep having dreams about school, being back talking with old school mates, being late for that one important test. I have one of these dreams at least once a week!

Not to hijack the thread but I have that exact same type of dream! Mind you it isn't once a week- more like a couple of times a year. I call it my "anxiety" dream.

Let me ask you this Bob- when you have that dream of being back in school- are you young again, or are you the age you are now? I'm always my current age (although nobody seems to notice or care).

I had someone mention to me that it is a "longing for the past" but still being "grounded in the present".

Another reoccurring dream I have is travelling to Dragon Con (I have to drive down from Canada)- and something goes seriously wrong. Either I don't leave in time (meaning by the time I get there it will be Sunday night), or my hotel arrangements get screwed up, or I lose my costumes etc.

I don't recall actually seeing myself, but I get the "feeling" it's been both ways.
It's funny that it might be about longing for the past since I didn't have the greatest time in school, but all of my dreams on the subject are the opposite!
