I just got done with the preliminary structure made of mounting board. I'm pretty new to this stuff and I was wondering about the best way to fill gaps in a helmet. I used this adhesive foam weather strip insulator as a surface to glue the pieces from the printout together and now there are gaps in between some of the surfaces because the foam doesn't hold the surfaces of the mat board I used completely flush with each other.

Here is the foam:

What is the best way to fill these?

Also, are there any other methods to harden the helmet besides fiberglass and resin? I was planning on mod- podging or just applying PVA all over it.

halp pls i have no clue what I'm doing
