This was a commission I took. It lights up with LEDs, but at the time of these pictures, I hadn't installed them yet. I'll update with lit pics soon.

Very cool! Very well done! I like the GL symbol on the top, nice touch.

But it looks like you spilled some yellow paint on the side and completely ruined the prop though!!! :lol <--- sorry, had to do it, down here in FL Gator country.

That looks really good, What did you use for the pieces on top and bottom? I thought about using pvc couplers but they do not widen like that,

totally, whats your parts list for thus puppy? ive made a few lanterns myself(and more in different stages of completion), including one of guy's older versions of his lantern, id be interested in one like this too.

I used an 8 inch acrylic globe for the body, with bowls, and PVC couplers for the tops and portholes. Then prime, paint, and seal!

AWESOME! I'm a big GL fan and I am going to try and make myself one of the batteries this summer

just not sure how I want to tweek it to show its mine yet

That really looks good. I hope they do a good job with the new GL movie coming out. Thank the maker for CG, this would have been done well without CG.
