Gun prep help

Does anyone here know how to dismantle the stinger P311 airsoft gun? Though my version is the z311 zombie version. I'm trying to prep it for paint, but can't figure it out and can't find anything online about taking it apart. Any help would be most appreciated

the crazy thing about airsoft, is many of them dissemble just as their live fire real steel models they are based on, Unless of course this is a throw away POS were talking about.

Any particular reason why it cant be painted assembled? Is it a clear plastic version? Ive repainted many replicas and airsoft versions and rarely have any needed to be disassembled to do so.

It's a cheap (I think I paid like $14 for it) pos, but does look decent with a working hammer. As for why I want to disassemble it, mostly personal preference. I'm rattle canning it, and sometimes the paint gums up the works.

See the notches on the slide? Move the slide until the first notch lines up with the end of the slide lock, you will see it line up. Then pop out the slide lock, and the gun will come apart. Just be aware, these cheap airsoft guns are not really meant to be taken apart. So putting it back together without breaking it might be a real challenge.
