Are the gold lenses different from what was originally offered with the helmet? or has been same ones from the get go? Thanks.
Here's the movie correct color shift paint I found applied on the helmet, after many trials and errors I found the correct painting technique to match the screen used helmet colors. I'll let the pics speak for themselves

BTW this helmet just needs trimming of the eyes & mouth & minimal on the edges. Incredible cast! Hopefully I'll have it painted next weekend. This paint ain't cheap.
I Agree Looking forward to the outcome of the paint. Have been wanting to try that type of paint
Wow that looks amazing!! I also have a spray gun and im toying with the idea of making one, but would you be willing to share the color codes for the color of paint you used? Its a big gamble and might be a expensive one, I don't agree with them saying to be applied on a black base color will be way too dark, I would go with a very fine metallic silver base coat instead, I tried black as suggested by some and it was way too dark, just do some tests first and make sure your helmet is well prepped as all the defect will show on your top colorshift paint, this paint is a real pain to work with very translucent, it required 10 med coat to achieve the correct color and that's on silver base coat which is light, I can only imagine if I would have use a black base coat. Everything was painted using a automotive HVLP touch up airbrush in my garage![]()
