Here's a pull made of smooth cast 300.
We will likely do the run in the 300 unless you specify that you would prefer onyx.
I'm hoping the lens samples arrive next week so we can confirm they will look the way we want them to. Then we can give the thumb's up to get them produced and get the run officially under way.

I wanted to post an update on the lenses. I think I've found a winner
Tested out on some of my asm2 lenses (I didn't have the GG lenses ready to go yet at the time of this trial) and I'm really happy with the results. You can still see through them really well. I should hopefully be able to have all the GG lenses ready within the next few weeks.
Sorry about the iphone pic, it's really hard to show the gold colour in picture form.
On a side note, I may make this option available with my spiderman lenses. Perfect for IronSpider

Got mine today! you guys Rock! it's fraking Awesome! now just to figure out how best to put it together and get it painted. I have a painter. but not sure what to tell him about the paint. If you guys have any info on that. feel free to share if you would...

Glad to hear it arrived safely I'm not sure yet on the correct paint, haven't got that far in the research yet Once I get the lenses in hand I'll have your set shipped out to you as well.

Thanks ahoudini. but I want to find out the proper flip flop paint possibly used for the Hero prop. I have an auto body friend that says he can do the flip flop paint.
And I sure will post a pic when it finished Alex.

Just a quick update, the lenses have been made and will be ready to send out shortly. Remember there are only 3 more spots on this first run and then the price will be going up.
I likely won't make more lenses in the future so this will probably be limited to just the 2 runs total.

I just temporarily attached a set to one of the unpainted helmets I have here to give an idea on the look. And I'll also get them sent out this week to those of you who have already received the helmets.
Again, I will likely not be getting any more of these lenses made so once these two runs are done, that will be it - you will have to source your own gold lenses.
I was asked about visibility through these so here is a pic taken with my iphone through a lens.
And lenses are now in hand
