Greeble vs Greebly?

Always been greebly (or greeblie) as far back as I can remember.

I believe it was because an ILM model maker said "greeblie" that we started using it here on the RPF...before it was even the RPF. (AOL prop board days)

I've never heard the term "greeble" (pronounced gree-bull?) until now, and therefore consider it incorrect

All three original films were done by 1983. I believe the date goes back to 1976.

There's a Johnson sketch in the Star Wars Sketchbook that has "greeblie" in it. I'll have to look it up later. That would make it about 1975 at the latest.

HAHAHA! Feeling fine. I'm just terrible at actually building anything and most of the costumes I hope to make soon don't require any greeblies. Plus I'm willing to do just about anything to win a bet!
