Predator 2, when the other Predators uncloak.....unleashing one of the greatest moments in Stan Winston costume building history (at least to us Predator costumers). ;)

We've had some great endings, and I'd add '2001', but the greatest ending of all time is the conclusion of 'The Vanishing' (the original, not the Hollywood version).

Ary of Darkness. One of the finest and most appropriate endings ever.
"Lady, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave the store."
"Who the hell are yup?"
"The name's Ash. Housewares."

Runner up: Robin Hood:Men in Tights
"Call the Locksmith!!!"

Favourites:

Aliens... first time I saw it back in '86 I was exhausted at the end: Aliens in the ceiling, crawling through AC ducts, "we're not leaving", Ripley rescuing Newt, chased by the Queen, "get away from her you b*tch"... the last 40 minutes was relentless.

The Player. One of my favourite films.

Anything by Kubrick except Eyes Wide Shut (which might have worked if it have been made 10-20 years before and didn't have Tom Cruise in it).

The Crying Game - no wait... that bit wasn't at the end.

The Matrix.

and:

Matrix Revolutions - sheer relief that the train wreak was finally over.

Glory

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

The Maltese Falcon

The Natural

It's a Wonderful Life

Throw Mama From the Train

Vertigo

Raiders of the Lost Ark

I'm going to add Memento.

My roommate and I must have discussed that over drinks countless times. Still have no idea what the truth was...

I cast my vote for Clockwork Orange "I was cured all right!" Oh, and Dr. Strangelove! Here's one no one else is gonna list: The Taking of Pelham, One, Two, Three (the original)
