I'm going to make a costume of Gravelord Nito:

From the screenshot, one can tell that Nito is about twice as tall as the player, I was thinking of having mine about the same size.

First of all, I'm going to make a frame out of wood, polypropilene tubes and metalling L pieces. On it, I am going to attach two arms and in order to simulate the longer arms of Nito, the forearms are lenghtened behind the elbow, forming grips I can grab onto using my real hands. This lenghtened part will be hidden behind black cloth, along with my arms and body.
To get taller, I'm going to use modified drywall stilts.
Once the frame is made and is very stable, I am going to spray a whole lot of expanding foam on it, cut and carve a ****ton of skulls, ribs, etc, cover it with papier mache for strength. A seeing-slit will be hidden on the body.
Light, dark cloth will be glued/sewed on the papie mache to create the "aura of darkness" of Nito. Lastly, the body will be painted and weathered.
What do you think ? Any suggestions, pointers ?
