Here's an update. The Romans Folmer bottom and Glasseye fits


Just did the rivets and grips unfortunately it"s so hot that right now that double sided tape didn't hold lol...
Will reglue it this week.

Ok so I'm done..

• KR Flashgun Gen2
• Roman Props Folmer Glasseye + Roman Props Folmer Bottom
• Wanna Wanga pinched bubble strip, rivets, wonky d-ring and grips.
• Stamped sidebar
• Installed with the updated grip guide and cut in accurate length.
• I also went through a lot of material and tried to replicate each angle of the grips
• Trimmed a leftover screw (I think it was from the beertab) and glued it on top.

Thanks I'm just a bit pissed that the bigger "grip rivets" are probably 2mm off "in terms of screen accuracy". I wonder if I should remove them and try to cover the holes with newly placed rivets or if I should just leave them since noone will ever care or notice (besides me) lol.

Nice build indeed saiyanwillpower ... those in between grip rivets were somesort of repair/fix on the real prop ... just leave it as is ... and move along

Send your sidebar to Roy to have it stamped and also get his belt clip ... so you can wear your saber proudly on your belt

Ordered the kit from Wannawanga. Waiting for it to come in. Also, need help with the second red button. Which is more accurate… Roman’s or The Graflex Shop’s?

I'm not sure but I heard from someone that on his KR the TGS Glasseye didn't fit.
I think you should probably go with Roman's

Thank you. I have not heard that so thanks for the tip. I will be ordering the one from Roman’s then.

Edit: not sure how I missed it, by KR Sabers has one for sale also. It would match the one on the top already ☺️

For the record Roman’s props gen2 flash excepts all vintage parts. It’s threading is true to the original
