Got a bit burned on a Studio Scale Tie fighter on eBay by Mike Tait!

So the question I have is - who's Sandcrawler is that? I'm 10000% sure that whatever would be ordered would not look like that...Not that I'd order from a known recaster anyway... but I'd be interested in talking to the original maker ...

Be reminded, he's not only a thief in terms of being a recaster, but he's also a thief who flat out steals your money.

He had some YouTube videos on "his" (most likely recast) TIE Advance. I called him out but he denied his real identity despite the dozens of clues in the videos..not to mention I remember what his voice sounds like from our lengthy phone conversations. He can't keep up with his lies at this point which is disturbing.

Point is, if it seems like crap, it is crap. The resin work he sent me pics of weren't good. He even offered to give me some TIE Advance "masters" before he ripped me off. I have extensive text conversations of his bull****.

Google Randy Cooper Sandcrawler ... more than likely it's his original cast.

This guys almost got me too. I ordered some kits and after giving me the run around he sent only parts of them, no complete shipment. I then threaten him to start a PayPal dispute and to leave negative feedback. Then and only then he gave me the full refund. This is a common thief and a liar. He gave me lots of excuses, like his father having cancer among others. Stay away!!

I'm sorry to say I've had the same issues. I was fully refunded after starting a paypal dispute, but I was given the run-around for months.

hes haunted by the number of folk he owes money too,

my very first prop purchase was with this guy and i got burned, off to a nice start eh!

got a partial refund months or years later, then got stung by my bank for converting a dollars cheque into uk pounds.

at least i got something back..

only other scum i dealt with was sd, he still owes me money.

Hey Guys, Mike Tait (notorious re caster) got me. Had no idea he was on eBay as knightavenger66. SO BEWARE! He sent me a Studio scale tie fighter with a bunch of missing parts. Promised to overnight them and nothing. Stay away from this guy!

Let me tell you my "Mike Tait" story (it might make you feel slightly better?): In 2011, he bought a $1500 Master Replicas Star Trek TOS Enterprise 35” replica on eBay from me, then didn't pay for it. In the same weekend eBay spree, he had also bought $5000-worth of ST collectibles, and then screwed all those Sellers, too. He apparently thought he was safe from harm by installing a false address on the eBay system. With me, however, he made the fatal mistake of divulging his cell phone number: I back-traced it to a rental listing he & his wife owned. I called the rental agent: Turns out she was a personal friend of the wife’s, a Chinese national, who was in China at the time. I explained the whole thing to the agent, and she relayed it all to the wife. Even sent her screen captures of all his unpaid-for eBay purchases. Apparently, he had been out-of-work for some time, so she was absolutely PISSED that he’d be out spending thousands of dollars on ST collectibles, and even more furious that he wasn’t paying for them. Anyway, coincidentally at that precise moment, our-boy Mike was on a plane to China! He unsuspectingly got off the plane, probably with a big "hi honey" smile on his face, and she just LEVELED his ass right there in the terminal in front of everybody. Ever experienced a pissed-off Asian female? Whoo, boy, you can imagine. Anyway, I don't know if they're still married, or if she finally dumped his pathetic ass, but for fun, you, too, could always try tracking her down. I think her name was Danni?
