Gorilla Glue removal?

Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong area for this question. I've been using Gorilla Glue on a project of mine and it has held incredibly well, the problem is that it has spilled over in some areas during the foaming process where it's visible and I need it gone. I've been able to chip away the larger clumps and I've used lacquer thinner to dissolve some of the smaller spots but it's all of the medium spills that are troublesome. Has anyone used this stuff before and have experience in removing it? The material it's on is a smooth vinyl and I'd like to avoid sanding it as I don't want to ruin its finish.

This is from the Gorilla Glue website.

Clean Up: Remove uncured "squeeze out" glue with denatured alcohol, thinner or other solvents. Hardened squeeze out glue is easily removed with chisel, scraper or sandpaper and will not damage tools. Clean wet glue from hands with mineral spirits.

I personally do not use the glue any more because I had a simalar problem when I was lamanating some borads together. I cleaned up all the squeeze out with the alcohol but when I went to finish the project I had alot of spots were the stain would not penatrate, even in places were there was no squeeze and after a good sanding.

Yeah, I had to stop using this because I had a lot of trouble with extra too. I tried chipping it away, but I damaged the replica.

Sandpaper might be a better idea.

I have been able to trim it down with a razor knife, then light sand.
Hope that helps a little.

I Gorilla glued the hell out of this , and had it all over the edges, but it came out allright.
