Gordon Freeman Mk 5 HEV suit

Hello everyone,isnt this a wondeful place?

So after a long absence from modelling/general making (long time lurker,long term no-doer here ) i thought i would jump in at the deep end and build a HEV suit from Half-Life 2.

So stuff so far acquirred..

Black morph suit,i plan on velcro,glueing/stitching/hanging everything onto this.

Leather gloves
Motorcycle boots
One roll of Carbon fibre vinyl (for the torso area)
Dense Foam- for the armour and chest (thanks to all the Iron Man posts on here!)


Thats about it for now...
any ideas/thoughts would be very welcome

Thanks Contec progress is slow at the minute,i have the foam so may make a start in the next few days hopefully!

More progress..i have found some glasses that are quite a good match for Gordon's.
Specsavers Opticians - Designer Glasses, Sunglasses, Contact Lenses & Eyecare
By the way has anybody had any experience with coloured contact lenses?
I will need some green ones as my eyes are brown...
